ABOUT

Stacia Brady was born in Southern California and graduated from UC Berkeley. She has been creating ceramics, sculptures, and paintings in Northern California for over 40 years. Her early ceramic work focused on finding beauty in form, function, and design while her early figurative paintings tackled dark psychological themes. After taking a break from the art world in the 1990's to become ranch manager of a forty acre horse ranch, Stacia returned to painting in the early 2000's. Inspired by the unique terrain of the valley, she painted bold, color saturated landscapes  and vivid, powerful animal portraits. More recently her work has transitioned into the textural and abstract.
